e-mailed, though payment must be made by check and mailed to Zimco
Creative Arts, Inc., P. O. Box 2, Old Bethpage, NY 11804.
Royalties must be paid in advance. Rights are given for a specific number of performances. Upon receipt of an order and payment, we will immediately forward an authorization to perform, as well as one copy of the script with sheet music, plus a cassette tape or CD of the music, along with authorization to duplicate the script and tape/CD for each cast member. By providing only one script and tape/CD (with authorization to copy only for cast members and creative and technical staff), we allow you to duplicate scripts and music at a lower cost than if we provide multiple copies, while preserving the rights of the publisher under United States Copyright Law. However, if you would like us to provide additional copies of scripts or tapes/CD's, you can specify on the order form.
All signs, flyers, programs, and other publicity must include the words, “Book, Music, & Lyrics by Mark D. Zimmerman” following the title of the show. Please forward to us a copy of any reviews, flyers, and programs following the production of the show.
NOTE: No alterations, deletions or substitutions may be made in any work (book or music) without the prior written consent of the publisher. All of our plays are copyrighted. Unauthorized reproduction of scripts, music and tapes/CD's, and unauthorized production of shows is expressly prohibited by United States Copyright Law (regardless of whether admission is charged for the production) Title 17, United States Code Sec. 106. We urge producers to comply with these laws to support playwrights who depend on royalties to support their efforts.
